History: Purban was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Sage responsibilities is difficult; and he is greedy

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her father. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for her; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and she desires to right it

Personality: She is happy with her job as a Glassblower. She turns her eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. Despite her manner, she is extremely passionate and proud of her job, and she prides herself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. When Meriele reached her early adolescence her Half-Elf mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She has set out to sabotage the competition.
