History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He always admired druidic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. During his travels, Bertram and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Bertram discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Bertram fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

Personality: He is filled with cunning. He likes to feign weakness letting people think he is weak. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He found a children's book about a Dwarf Barbarian who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has dedicated himself to building a better world.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Her voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: She is quite rude, and likes to deride her opponents skill and shout insults at them. She is a ruthless business woman, a trait she acquired from her mother.

History: Tagga was raised in a hard working conservative environment. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Half-Orcs in the south were limited. She has achieved small success as a Fisher.

Personality: Umpen speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: He has decided he is irredeemable; and revenge
