History: Syllin lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Knight work with an outfit from a few towns over. Knight work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Slave Trader they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Knight, and she later adopted a second son.

Personality: She is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. She claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day she will do what she thinks is right.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. Through the years after Merla was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Merla's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.
