Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. History: He got into the Adventurer business at a young age. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Fulbar alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Adventurer responsibilities is difficult.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. When the war came and ruined her parents she was left adrift. She was a hard woman then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.
