History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Her partner is her best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. She is harsh and unforgiving.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Mara was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared.
