History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Marshal for hire.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Ghash was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Scribe hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He struck the Scribe job and began his own company from there.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. After coming to the age of reason, Nora took it upon herself to study the arcane arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.
