History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family As a very small child his family refused to pay dues to a local crime lord, who ordered them killed. His father, a somewhat powerful mage sought to protect him and cast a teleportation spell that whisked him away. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and he desires power and/or immortality

History: She was raised in a mountains tribe. Her first spouse was a Sellsword, they had one daughter, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. By chance she met her sister recently and the two have been together since.

Description: A thin man, he clearly needs to put on some weight, but he still has a lot of muscle. He wears light armors faded through time and improper care. His hair, while still mostly white, has prominent grey streaks. His ears are large.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Rurik was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Rurik's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Rurik and his spouse have recently divorced.
