Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Ruloth grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Ruloth. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Kilvar was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Kilvar alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: Born in the east to a Engraver, River learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He now mingles about in high society.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends.

Personality: She does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. She always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove her into the Mayor business.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. She worked as a nervous Mayor and found it very stressful. She became a Mayor soon after.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.
