Description: This southern man is abnormally tall. He is wearing dark clothing and a heavy breastplate, keeping many of his physical features obscured. His whole body is exceptionally muscular. He wears his hair in dreadlocks. His violet eyes peer out from beneath his top yellow hat.

Personality: He is envious of other's things. He hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that he so desires. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Through the years after Heian was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Heian's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Description: This tall, slender woman typically wears a sleeveless long coat of deep red leather and dull black iron scale mail. Her white hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. Her voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: She is quiet and unassuming. She ignores others and carries on with her job unassumingly. She is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of her. She is by nature obliging.

History: She was born in the east. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Knight work with an outfit from a few towns over. Knight work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She has achieved small success as a Knight.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and she'd like to take her coworkers down a peg

Description: This slender man stands about 6'1". He wears a faded coat and loose pants complete with wide-brimmed hat. He wears a wide-brimmed hat to hide his balding. His gold unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. He is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. One day when Direcris was young, his father was sewing while trying to overcome the flu, when suddenly his father dropped to the ground dead. His father had died from a severe disease that was unknown to the village doctor. Direcris was heart-stricken from the event, and his mother started working long hours to provde for them. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found.

Description: He is an attractive man, lean and moderately muscular. He is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down. His hair is always cut to a buzz. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.

History: Born to a Marshal, his mother struggled to pay the bills. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality.

Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what she was had she not made sure her armor was more form fitting than normal. Outside of the suit she is wearing a perfectly clean shirt and pair of pants. Her hair is greying and her face has many wrinkles. Her eyes are green and she is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: She speaks before she thinks and is too direct. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Whurdred is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: Whurdred was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Half-Orc companion (her 'brother'). She has dedicated herself to building a better trade route.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.
