History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Dagnal grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Dagnal. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. A freak accident while working with his Barber father left him crippled. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: Gildmak lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Through the years after Gildmak was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Gildmak's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. Pijjirik enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Cartwright work with an outfit from a few towns over. Cartwright work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He became a Cartwright soon after.

Personality: She is happy with her job as a Bricklayer. She turns her eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. She is fiercely devoted to her mother, and views her mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-brother.

History: Born in the east to a Bricklayer, Vanchu learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She tends to her Bricklayer job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Motivation: An old rival family wants her found; and regain custody of her son
