History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Nella was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her parents were killed by dire rats in a raid when she was still a young child. The dire rats captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by dire rats. Nella was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the dire rats.

Motivation: A deep hatred of dire rats; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and she desires to right it

Personality: He is a Hunter first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of goblins once and for all.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 16th year, his parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Wiggan alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Half-Elven activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Half-Elven doctor. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Half-Elven people; and half-elven compassion

History: A child with a great deal of singing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He always admired necromantic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and he will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. if successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact

Personality: Helgret hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate her. It was this clingy personality that held back her music career. She works hard and plays hard.

History: She comes from a rich northern family. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.
