History: Thorin lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He was granted necromantic powers by his dying brother.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Mercenary and was forced into it by his family; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his mother's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered goblins who tried to eat his hand. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and revenge

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. She has had some formal singing training, and achieved minor success. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: She feels kind of lost in life; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. She was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: Money/treasure; and she is wracked by social anxiety
