History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. His childhood dream was to be a Slave Trader, but he was a colossal failure. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Bookbinder responsibilities is difficult; and to be a slave trader again

History: Ahlyssa lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. She struck the Barber job and began her own company from there.

Motivation: To be a Carpenter again; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.

Motivation: She is terrified, and will act out of fear; and she wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Personality: Peren is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Butcher profession.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. Peren was born on a far eastern plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Layabout. He became a Layabout soon after.
