History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. When Merla reached her early adolescence her Halfling mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was granted martial powers by his dying brother.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and to pay off his debts

History: She was raised in a mountains tribe. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Half-Orcs in the south were limited. She left for the south, certain she would find work there.
