He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Darrow was raised in a hard working conservative environment. At some point he was captured by illithids and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. He now owns his own business.

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: She was born in a small island village. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.
