Personality: He snorts whenever he laughs or is feeling confident. The war was a terrible time for him, and Carrie does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: A child with a great deal of painting talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Carrie grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Carrie. Being a Cartwright kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Quillathe was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Ostracized due to the arcane powers of her oldest sister, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Half-Elves became a terror of the countryside. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature sai.

History: Lucan was born in the west. At a young age he loved to build and create. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.
