She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: His right thumb is blackened and bruised, but otherwise he appears quite healthy. He wears skinny pants and wears a tan and white robe with the hood down. His brown hair is smooth and relatively long. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines gray.

Personality: In the realm of puns, he cannot help himself. He feels obliged to make them. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Half-Orc companion (his 'brother'). Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Knight they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Marshal, and he later adopted a second daughter.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Money/treasure; and he has a crush on the local farmer

Description: She is typically in her Navigator uniform, and she perpetually has her longsword ready. Her silver hair is thinning but still full. Judging by the bloodshot nature of her eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine she has not slept for days.

Personality: She hates brigands. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. She takes great pride in her work and is very well organized. Her planner is full of calendar events.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. She helped her mother out around the business and became quite the natural. She struck the Navigator job and began her own company from there.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions.

Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and to get a good night's sleep
