Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: Xappan lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Bookbinder hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. After a long history of fighting, Borun and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He is a hateful person. He taunts others and blames them for his problems. Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. He is seen as merciless and passionate.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. Being a Engraver kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and he has decided he is irredeemable
