Description: A middle-aged man, he wears tight fitting pants and leather jackets. He usually doesn't wear a shirt, and is pretty ugly. His moppish golden hair is in a traditional bowl cut. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines blue.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Vlorn embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Butcher arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His parents were killed by dire rats in a raid when he was still a young child. The dire rats captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. After a long history of fighting, Vlorn and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. His psionic abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Personality: She is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. She moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep her interest for a month it is impressive.

History: When she was but 7 years old her parents immigrated from the north. A gifted student she started as a Adventurer, but she got bored and became a Dilettante. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: She fancies herself a trickster and likes to rely on her wits to carry the day. She cares for her older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. She is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in her opinion.

History: Born to a Priest, her mother struggled to pay the bills. The family's rival house kidnapped her sister with the intent that her sister marry their son to gain control of contested properties. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Priest they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Doctor, and she later adopted a second son.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Doctor and was forced into it by her family; and find a way to reverse the transformation of her brother

Personality: This woman loves writing and to teach people writing more than just about anything. She is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in her opinion.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 9 years.

Motivation: She is unsatisfied with her job.
