History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it

Description: This woman is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. She wears a tan vest and prefers blue and brown shirts. Her boots appear to have been at one point steel toed but are quite worn down. Her golden hair is still thick. Judging by the bloodshot nature of her eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine she has not slept for days.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating she would invite many more into her home than her spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. Her brief stint in the army gave her the idea she was invincible and that she is the toughest woman alive.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Elves in the east were limited. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and she wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Personality: She does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. She has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a woman enough she will sell her own mother. Money is her most trusted friend.

History: Bendoo lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. In her youth she was part of a gang. She got caught, but did not rat out her comrades and served her time in prison. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Motivation: She will attempt to ambush and attack anyone she thinks she can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, she will try to sell them to her slave-trader contact.

History: Born to a Bricklayer, her father struggled to pay the bills. She found a children's book about a Gnome Commoner who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and to reunite with her old friends

Personality: He is envious of other's things. He hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that he so desires. He is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. He likes to tell stories.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. In his 12th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He bought a ceremonial dagger and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.
