Description: Dark and lean, she is a relatively plain woman. She wears baggy white pantaloons and a green scarf. Her chestnut hair is styled in orderly dreadlocks. Her violet eyes are passionate and lively.
Personality: She is curt in most of her responses. She prefers to keep her word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. She dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.
History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Volen was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

Description: The man speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. He seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if he got out from a pool a few moments ago. He dresses like a well dressed Bather does. His hair is long and black with streaks of red, and is pulled back with small red clips. His beard is red, braided, and well cared for. His eyes are a pleasant amber.
Personality: He is fixated on the number 13. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his father.
History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He has achieved small success as a Bather.
Motivation: Retire the richest man in the north; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Description: He is a man of bearing and well nourished. He is dressed in an above average manner. His hair is cut close to his head. His silver eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.
Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.
History: Valafar was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.

Description: She is wearing dark clothing and a heavy breastplate, keeping many of her physical features obscured. She cuts an attractive figure and her suit of old armor is well cared for even if it is obsolete. Her brown hair is braided into rings. Her amber eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.
Personality: She is enamored with her job. She loves it. She likes the challenge and she likes helping those less fortunate than her. She spends most of her days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There she gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.
History: A child with a great deal of music talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. She found a children's book about a Dwarf Commoner who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She has achieved small success as a Ploughman.
Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg.

Description: A woman with a warm, jovial air about her, she wears many layers of old clothing at all times. Her auburn hair is matted, messy, and big. She tend to wears goggles to shield her eyes.
Personality: She is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of her strength. She works very hard to maintain that gentleness. She lacks restraint and is impulsive. She jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.
History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Stylist hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: She feels kind of lost in life.
