Description: A hulking woman with gigantic muscles, she wears a pastel vest with golden trim over her white shirt. Her black leather gloves and pants are well-kept, and her pastel boots flare out at the collars. Her gray fur is still thick. Her face possesses mild wrinkles. Her smile is extraordinarily sincere though she does not smile often.

Personality: She is not truly malevolent, but she is obsessed with poetry. She constantly tries to fill her life with poetry. The war was a terrible time for her, and Emerald does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: She got into the Layabout business at a young age. She was an apprentice working in her mother's forge. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and balancing her hectic life and new layabout responsibilities is difficult

Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what he was had he not made sure his armor was more form fitting than normal. Outside of the suit he wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. His brown hair is greasy and uncared for. He tend to wears goggles to shield his eyes.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Halfling companion (his 'brother'). He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
