Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Arannis fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: She is not truly malevolent, but she is obsessed with singing. She constantly tries to fill her life with singing. She also is a firm believer in the womanly ideal.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. A freak accident while working with her Carpenter father left her crippled. She now mingles about in high society.

Description: This northern woman wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. She conceals her scimitar with her veritable burlap sack of a shirt. Her clothes are grease stained in places. She wears her auburn hair up in a very large beehive style do. Her hazel unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: She barks her statements quickly and with little fuss. She prefers small words and is at her heart utilitarian. She dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Half-Elves in the north were limited. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.

Description: Relatively heavier built than your average woman, she is not imposing. She typically wears grey cloth garments or leather armor. Her head has been shaved. She wears an eyepatch.

Personality: She misses her glory days as an athlete. She does not mind her job, but it is boring in comparison. She is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Her parents were killed by goblins in a raid when she was still a young child. The goblins captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Description: His left thumb is blackened and bruised, but otherwise he appears quite healthy. He wears clothing that is held on in multiple layers but all of it is in poor condition. His black hair is cut short. His eyes are amber and catlike.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. A friendly and beautiful Halfling, he is rarely seen without a few beauties around his arms. Though a playboy in all rights, he is no lame duck.

History: Ombul was born with his mother's beautiful face. While he appears to be a normal Halfling, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things.
