Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Gillyd isn't afraid of most anything. She has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Dwarven unity. Her philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: Gillyd was raised in a hard working conservative environment. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Marshal. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature shield.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Her father disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her father, she was betrayed dozens of times. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Barrister and was forced into it by her family; and marry her sister to traveling adventurers

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He hates dire rats. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Half-Elves.

History: Galinndan was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Half-Elven activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Half-Elven doctor. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.
