History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. She has had some formal painting training, and achieved minor success. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and balancing her hectic life and new detective responsibilities is difficult

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Dustin was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

Motivation: He possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal; and money/treasure

History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Soapmaker hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and he would like to get married and retire
