History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Through the years after Fragrant was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Fragrant's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Emerald was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Motivation: An old rival family wants her found; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions
