He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

History: The child of southern immigrants she idolized her mother. When the war came and ruined her parents she was left adrift. She was a hard woman then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

Personality: She cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with her opinion, she thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, she can get violently argumentative. She has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: She comes from a rich northern family. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
