History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Through the years after Chad was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes illithids are coming to abduct people. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
