History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs; and to prove his worth to the world

History: She comes from a rich western family. She has had some formal dancing training, and achieved minor success. She now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: To be a Tanner again; and balancing her hectic life and new apothecary responsibilities is difficult

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. After coming to the age of reason, Greethen took it upon himself to study the martial arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He was granted martial powers by his dying brother.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. Her first spouse was a Tailor, they had one son, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: Her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion; and she feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help
