History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. When Bathin reached his early adolescence his Tiefling father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He has never given up on his writing dream.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Tricking was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Through the years after Tricking was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Tricking's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. At a young age she wooed the heart of her future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions
