She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She tends to her Body Guard job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

History: Nija was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Ranger, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Ranger in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She has dedicated herself to building a better trade route.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. A gifted student he started as a Performer, but he got bored and became a Servant. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

History: She was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. Brilliant and gifted she never wanted to apply herself. She used her abilities to travel the world and help people.
