History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He has worked as a Navigator like his mother before him.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and balancing his hectic life and new navigator responsibilities is difficult

However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the orcs.
