History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. As of late he has set up a hidden staging nest where he ambushes people he hires for escort.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and he is a bit of a kleptomaniac

History: Hecat hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. In her 10th year, her parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Hecat alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

History: Kothûg was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He saw the violence of war and the aftermath so he converted to religion and dedicated himself to non-violence.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs
