Personality: She is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Theirastra is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: The child of southern immigrants she idolized her father. Her father disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her father, she was betrayed dozens of times. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Theirastra fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: William lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. When William reached his early adolescence his Human father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Tabaxi activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Tabaxi doctor. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: Harann is a sociable creature first and foremost. She loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. She can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. She has a cruel streak; something she gained from her previous mentor. She harbors resentment against her former mentor.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. After a long history of fighting, Harann and her spouse have recently divorced.
