History: Thea lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Halfling activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Halfling doctor. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He takes great pride in his work and is very well organized. His planner is full of calendar events.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Interpreter for the past few years.

Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. He takes great joy in being the best Barkeep in town.

History: He was born at the edge of vast mountains. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Barkeep. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Description: A woman with a friendly, welcoming air about her, she is generally well dressed albeit a few years behind the times. Her black hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. She is baby faced.

Personality: She is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of her strength. She works very hard to maintain that gentleness. She is harsh and unforgiving.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: She has money and likes to spend it.

Personality: She is a jovial happy person, but she is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. When she's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, she's doing poetry.

History: Her mother raised her in a mountain cabin. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a daughter. Some 5 years later her spouse died after the birth of her daughter. Heartbroken, Jarana never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her daughter whom she trained as her father had trained her before.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and wants to have a good time and be beloved
