History: Syllin was raised in a hard working conservative environment. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Sailor. After a long history of fighting, Syllin and her spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: Nim speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: Gifted from a young age, Nim studied abroad. After coming to the age of reason, Nim took it upon himself to study the martial arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He struck the Barrister job and began his own company from there.

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He disdains his fellow southerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and to unite with his sister

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and he's looking for his big break
