History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. In her 16th year, her parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Sarah alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She was granted druidic powers by her dying brother.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Through the years after Thervan was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west.
