History: Rurik was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Wizard, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Wizard in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Personality: She dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the south. A true patriot, Faral would do anything for her country. She is fiercely protective of her fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Faral hails from a village terrorized by drow. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Many drow want her driven away; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. She was an apprentice working in her father's forge. She tends to her Cook job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Motivation: She is terrified, and will act out of fear.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. A gifted student he started as a Miner, but he got bored and became a Armorer. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.
