History: She was born in the east, but her parents moved at a very young age to the north. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. He was preparing to flee to the north, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying north to reunite his family. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
