He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He is harsh and unforgiving.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Cockaby and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. He invites people to come help in his community garden.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. While he appears to be a normal Dwarf, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Emmeline was born with her father's beautiful face. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. Some 8 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Emmeline never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her son whom she trained as her father had trained her before.
