Personality: He is fixated on the number 28. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the north. While he appears to be a normal Gnome, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

History: Born in the east to a Laborer, Cloak learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. Cloak was a troubled youth. She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Cloak decided she wanted neither the life of her father nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. She tends to her Laborer job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

History: Born to a Servant, his mother struggled to pay the bills. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered writing. He has never given up on his writing dream.

She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
