She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Her father being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train her in hammer use. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by gnolls. Furrele was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the gnolls.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. She helped her father out around the business and became quite the natural. She would ruin relationships and cause injury. She was reprimanded several times before being given her current form and forced to learn humility.

Motivation: She is a bit of a kleptomaniac.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Theodoric grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Theodoric. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
