History: She was born in the south, but her parents moved at a very young age to the west. She has had some formal painting training, and achieved minor success. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: He is a Marshal first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
