He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the mountains due to the painful memories there. Everard took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up dagger and armor he uses now. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of goblins may trigger it at times.

History: Senteq lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Cursed with lycanthropy at a very young age, Senteq has worked very hard to control his curse. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Beggar for hire.

History: Ishte was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Ishte abandoned her home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. She survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. She did whatever it took for her to survive. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature kukri.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. She now owns her own business.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and her religion dominates her actions
