History: Beatrice was raised in a hard working conservative environment. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. Personality: He hates dire rats. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: He comes from a rich western family. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the forest to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Ratanák took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up sickle and armor he uses now. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 12 years.
