History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Miner hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. After a long history of fighting, River and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and she is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs

History: Olivia hails from a village terrorized by giants. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Halflings in Olivia's homeland. Olivia decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by giants. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.
