Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Balam was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: Prone to second guessing himself, he comes off as nervous. He is an amazing painter.

History: He was born in a small plains village. Ostracized due to the divine powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Half-Orcs became a terror of the countryside. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle; and he has money and likes to spend it

His hair is long and black with streaks of blonde, and is pulled back with small yellow clips. His beard is blonde, braided, and well cared for. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He found a children's book about a Half-Elf Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and he's looking for his big break

Personality: She speaks before she thinks and is too direct. She is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure she is not cheated out of a speck.

History: When she was but 4 years old her parents immigrated from the north. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Retire the richest woman in the north; and to prove her worth to the world

Description: A woman with a warm, jovial air about her, she wears rags and sports a simple walking cane. She wears her white hair down. Her eyes are likewise green.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, she has a hard time making friends. She cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist she will grow angry at them.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She helped her mother out around the business and became quite the natural. She's also a talented Healer, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and to share knowledge with the world
