History: A powerful slaver made her what she is. She took after her mother in leading caravans. Because they were valued, her mother taught her to defend herself. When her mother died while fighting illithids, the young Ranala began to lead the lost caravan. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by illithids. Ranala was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the illithids.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his mother. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Gnomes in the south were limited. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.
