History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Navigator arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His first spouse was a Bricklayer, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Tordrid lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Motivation: Her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and doesn't want to be a seamstress and was forced into it by her family

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He now owns his own business.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: She is filled with cunning. She likes to feign weakness letting people think she is weak. She loves her children and doesn't want them to worry about her. She loves to share her music with anyone who is interested.

History: A child with a great deal of music talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. By chance she met her sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: To reunite with her absent father; and wants to work out more often
