History: The child of southern immigrants she idolized her father. Her parents were killed by gnolls in a raid when she was still a young child. The gnolls captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. She left for the south, certain she would find work there.

To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. A freak accident while working with her Sage mother left her crippled. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: She doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes.

History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
